FINALLY people didn't just let the jealous ex act a fool without checking her ass! I liked so many things about this book. I loved that people didn't just accept toxic behavior. I was thrilled that the lady love interest didn't have a deep dark secret she was trying to hide. There was NEVER an irrational outburst fueled by insecurity. Poor communication sure, but no big scandalous moments.

Jack really wasn't anything special to me. He seemed like a nice guy, kind of oblivious, not too aggressive, family oriented, but could probably be more involved.

Chloe was super cute. She was effortlessly likable. Since I'm reading Alina's books out of order I had already met Chloe and thought highly of her. It was nice to be reintroduced and seeing her insecurities and the foundation that her growth was built on.

This is a cute rom com that would be perfect on Lifetime.
