The Snow Queen's Shadow by Jim C. Hines
4.0

There's a lot I want to talk about, but I also don't want to give anything away. I guess the best way to describe this book is that, while circumstances and execution are different, Snow Queen parallels with [b:The Stepsister Scheme|3598195|The Stepsister Scheme (Princess, #1)|Jim C. Toward the beginning there was a character/plot development (no spoilers!) that had me giving the side eye going "well that's awfully convenient" but having finished the book I concede that it does make sense. I wish I could talk more about it but it's a pretty HUGE spoiler so I'll refrain.

The end of a series, especially one you really enjoy, is always bittersweet. This one especially. Bring a box of tissues, have your BFF on standby for a hug (you'll need it) and dive in.
