This was beautiful, heartfelt, and poignant! I listened to the audiobook which made the experience more authentic. I enjoyed the switch of POV hearing both of their voices. This was the second book I’ve read from Elizabeth Acevedo and like the first ‘Poet x’ it was powerful! Highly recommend!
