A Marker of Dreams and Destiny was a solid book that I at first couldn't get into and felt that it was too slow even with how fast the main characters get together. The ending for me is what bumped it from a 3 to a 3.5. The true love twist was something I was not expecting, but on a reread would most likely be very evident. The premise of the book was good, but I felt that there could have been better execution of the book.
