If I could separate the romance from this book I would give it five stars. I absolutely adored Andrew and Jiya's smoldering tension, their discovery of Andrew's kink for being ordered to do things, Jiya discovering she loves it too. So hot and sexy and delicious. Thus three stars.

But I can't separate the romance from the reason why Andrew and Jiya haven't been together for years and then the actions taken by Andrew and his brothers to "fix" the problem was just WHAT.

I love Tessa Bailey, I'm a huge 'stan, this just didn't work for me. I can't say more in the review without entirely spoiling the book so I'll wait until after publication.

Also, Jiya is Indian-American which only seemed to matter to the plot in the sense her family owned a restaurant, the food descriptions, and a sort of arranged marriage subplot. I can't comment besides that on accuracy or portrayal so I'm interested to see what other readers thought.

BUT, this is compulsively readable, highly entertaining, and has the Tessa Bailey dirty talk we love. It will work for many people, just didn't work especially for me this time.
