This is the perfect teen rom com! One I think I could’ve done with in my teens 🤣🚩 
This book wasn’t written for my 30 year old self but it resonated with the teen I once was because it was written well enough that the teenagers actually sounded like teenagers.

I loved that the characters were flawed but growing. I loved the distinction between real red flags and just differences in personality.
It was such a healthy way to view relationships, not only in approaching them but also keeping them! All relationships take some degree of work and watching Poppy and Cam learn that not everything is a red flag and some things just need a little work was great to see. As well as them work through their commitment issues!

Also, special shout out to the supportive friendships and the star of the show - Grandad Stan 🥹

Also, the references to some excellent 90s rom coms. 10 Things I Hate About You is my faveeee and it just gave me all the warm and fuzzies! And this was the perfect mix of that and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days!
