My heart is so full🥹 I felt all of the emotions! H.M. Wolfe did such an incredibly, amazing job at describing what healing looks like after a manipulative and abusive relationship.
The beginning seemed a little slower than the rest of the book, but it set everything up so perfectly. I wouldn't have been as invested in everyone the other 70% of the book if not for the beginning.
It's been a hot minute since a book has left me completely speechless on what to say afterwards lol. I have SO much I want to say and express, but I don't want to give too much away because it was such an emotional and "sucks you in" read. I couldn't put it down once I started. I just need everyone to read The Book of Cin so y'all can know who that woman IS. Because she is IT. Hyacinth goes through so much personal growth and finds a village to rally behind her. Cin grows from hating herself because of a "man" to being the baddest bitch there is and I am here for it! And the way Landers and Ata have her back? Yes😍 Get you a man who supports you in everything and a best friend who would go to the end with you.
I'm so grateful to have received an ARC from the author. Especially since this will be my new Roman Empire book. I need more of them. I need to see how Hyacinth continues to grow into who she was meant to be🥺🖤
🗡️FAVORITE QUOTES🗡️
For my readers. For the ones who suffer silently. You will not break.
“Loyalty through hardship is one thing, Hyacinth. But loyalty through cruelty is another.”
“What are you, girl?” ... “A woman to fear.”
“You are mine. You do not belong to me, but I . . . I belong to you.”
"I will die before I let innocent people of the realms suffer at the hands of men like you. If I must become a killer or a monstrous entity, if I must become the very God of Hell itself, then so be it.”
