i really didn't care about this book. there was only one moment that i liked, and it was when it was revealed that will had actually gone to the lake that day 10 years ago . that hit me like a brick.
this book takes place in the present, spread over a few weeks. and it also contains a 24 hour period from the past, 10 years ago.
yea... i really didn't find anything about the love story or characters that made me want to get invested in it. also, probably not a good sign that i thought this was gonna be YA.
i already have the audiobook for the other carley fortune book (one last summer), so i'll probably still read it. it got more attention, so i'm assuming that is a better story. we'll see though...
