4.5 ~ Well. Ouch.
Dark fairytales that don't shy away from punching you in the gut are my fave. This one didn't disappoint. I loved seeing elements of the fairytales we know but giving them a very dark twist. And the new elements i'd never seen before were nice and complex.
At times it felt like maybe there were a few too many side stories that took away from our main goal, but most of them came together pretty well in the end (though I want an entire book about Roland and his bf).
A great read which left me in tears i didn't expect by the last chapter.
