A funny, riveting and entertaining read. I enjoyed the movie but the book is a lot better! Mark is a fantastic character and Weir tells his story very well. The pace is just right, the humour works and the story is very, very solid. It might not be the deepest sci-fi book there is, although it does have emotional and human depth, but it is smart and enjoyable. I highly recommend it!
