Love in the Time of Serial Killers
by Alicia Thompson
My feelings on this one are kind of complicated. On the one hand, the story was really well written and I freaking adored Sam. On the other, I found Phoebe really hard to relate to. She was a huge non-believer when it comes to love, which is so far from my own feelings that I found myself getting REALLY frustrated with a lot of Phoebe's actions. It was very much a trauma response and Phoebe was a very well written character, I just personally couldn't connect with her. It's a vibe thing I guess. I'm eager to see what Alicia Thompson comes out with next!
