Sinestro, Vol. 3: Rising
by Cullen Bunn
One sure way to ruin your comic is to put Lobo's ugly face in it. Oh, what's worse than Lobo you ask? New 52, stylish, over the top (even more than the 90's version) shitty version of Lobo.
Most of this comic at the start has NOTHING to do with Lobo (Thankfully) and is more of a showcase on how ruthless yet cunning Sinestro can be. We find out who the traitor is and Sinestro, as always, has a plan to handle it. However, Sinestro is also recruiting. What for? Well that's the plan. STOP ASKING! But before we get to something good, something epic, we have Lobo show his freaking face and ruin everything.
I hate Lobo for the most part. He's loud, annoying, gets in the way. He's like a wart you just wanna get rid of but if you pop him he comes back stronger. I just hate him and all his issues really sucked.
Thankfully besides his dumbass, most of the rest of the volume is good. The best being when Sinestro himself goes and recruits a young creature into his army. You see the process, a hint of what is to come, and a lot of cool things behind the mastermind.
Overall, anything with Sinestro was entertaining and good but Lobo...well he sucks as always. So a 3 out of 5 overall.
