The Secret Diary of Hendrik Groen, 83¼ Years Old
by Hendrik Groen
Frankly, one of my favourite ever books. There's just something about Hendrik and his zest for life.
The book follows the day to fay happenings of Hendrik Groen and his friends, the old-but-not-dead club. Taking the highs and lows of life in your 80s in his stride, Hendrik's not one to get bogged down. The book reads like talking to an old friend and I eagerly awaited the next instalment after finishing it.
