Waiting for Tom Hanks
by Kerry Winfrey
This one star rating has nothing to do with writing or the plot itself of this book. This just, wasn't it for me.
I know I will 100% give the second book in this series a try (and probably other works by this author) because I was more invested in the other characters than the main plot here. I liked the writing, I liked the concept, I just did not like Annie, she was immature and frustrating, and because of that I was really annoyed that this entire story took place in her head. She ruined the book for me. I am a little disappointed but still relatively optimistic that I'll like the next one because Chloe and Nick were shining stars in this book. And I think I would even be okay with references to Annie and Drew I just could do without Annie's logic.
