‘More Than This’ is a fantastic exploration of identity, reality and time. YA novels continue to subvert genre expectations and Ness is one of the forerunners of this charge. His novels continuously have me (an English Lit student at Uni) blown away.

This was possibly my favourite of Ness’ books. My brain hurt from all the theories it concocted but it succeeded in getting me to think and engage with the story and its themes. I was able to devour this nearly 500 page book in just two days - it is impossible to put down.
