One of the best books I've ever read in my life...I love that Achebe's work is not a complete critique of traditional Nigeria & I like that the novel is simply historical - Achebe just tells the facts without judging anyone. I could type all day & night about what I learned from this novel - I definitely wish it were a required text for today's youth...I imagine many could get a first-hand view at real Nigerian life.
