I am a huge fan of Taylor Jenkins Reid. Malibu Rising was a fast paced family drama that kept me motivated to read it all in one day. Meet the Rivas: Four kids of the famous singer Mick Riva. The setting is focused on one August night in 1983 which the annual Rivas have their end of summer party. The book goes back in time to provide history of this family’s start and how the Riva kids got to the party. Taylor Jenkins Reid is the queen of family drama storytelling that makes you feel connected to each character. I will continue to devour any book written by Taylor Jenkins Reid.
