Teela is tired and grumpy, plus just lost her seat at the final gala for the conference her new company organized and ran due to a seating snafu, when she runs in to the actual Sexiest Man Alive (TM) on the balcony of the hotel. He's just as beautiful and charming in person as on screen, but maybe even more so because Haydn also seems genuinely interested in Teela, blistered feet and all.

Teela is happy to leave the party with a great story to share with her friends, but a fender bender leaves her stranded on the side of the road, in the pouring rain, until a limo pulls up next to her...

You've heard this romance story before, the beautiful rich actor, the fancy hotel suite, the lingerie gifts. BUT let me tell you this book will blow your expectations out of the water. I laughed, I got a little misty, I definitely had pants-feelings.

I devoured this entire book in one night because I could not get enough. I'm a total sucker for these super close quarters and tight time frame romances where our lovers are just inhale each other but are always thinking about the expiration date. Unf. Just ramps up that delicious tension. What a great story and I cannot wait for more.

Also, Haydn's delicious insistence of consent was so wonderfully and sexily wrought. This is how you do it.
