This was my first time listening to the Maxine Mitchell and Jack Calihan as narrators. I will admit that this book may have been better for me to read because I tend to be picky with audiobooks. This is probably definitely a me thing and if you like these narrators, then you will enjoy this audiobook!

This is also the first book that I read from Karen Grey - the story itself was different from what I've read, but I love the "one night stand leads to future encounters" trope as well as the "enemies to lovers" trope. I loved that the enemies came from the family feud because that always gives the main characters a chance to prove themselves better than the family feud.

I really enjoyed the characters - the main characters had beautiful character development and the background characters didn't just fall in the background. They had their own stories and they were memorable.

The biggest down side to me with this book was the narrators (again, a me problem) and the writing struck me as a little cheesy and drawn out at times. However, Karen Grey is a very loved author and I can't wait to check out more of her books!
