American Born Chinese
by Gene Luen Yang
CW: racism, microaggressions
This book is a bit more comic than graphic novel, which is not usually my go-to, but the booksellers at Downbound offered it as an option and I trust them with my literary life and they did not disappoint! This book is told through three different storylines and I was shocked at how wonderfully they all became one at the end.
3.5/5
