You know what?
I felt like nothing really happened in this book.
Yeah yeah we learn about all those terrible things that everyone has done, but the point is they have ALREADY done it.
The only two characters what actually get some shit done are Wells and Bellamy, and you are way more compelled to like Bellamy than to like Wells.
I did enjoy reading the book, but mainly because I had in mind the TV series, and when you read the book as a standalone (havent's read the other books yet) you feel nothing for the characters. There's no depth, there's no growth, they're all just doing the same thing, over and over again.
This is pretty much a first in my life, but I might prefer the TV series over the book. At least the first book.
