I’ve been looking forward to the start of this brand new series since I finished the last Landmark Mountain book and it did not disappoint! A whole series of single dads is a dream for me, that trope is one of my very favorites and you also get forced proximity, sports and a dash of enemies to lovers. Seeing Weston learn how to be a dad was one of the cutest things ever and Sadie stepped into a parental role with grace and compassion. While this was beyond adorable it also had so much depth as Sadie grieves the loss of her sister. She’s in such a devastating situation I truly felt for her and was so happy when she got her HEA with Weston. To my surprise and delight there was some amazing crossover here with characters from Landmark Mountain AND a mention of some characters from Laura Pavlov’s Magnolia Falls series! I adore when authors drop those little Easter eggs, such a fun treat. A great start to a new series, I cannot wait to get to read more about the other single dads.
