This was fine.

I found a lot of the monologuing about motherhood to be interesting.

But that’s about it.

I didn’t love the idea that her freedom relies on sex work, it feels like another tired trope of sex work “saving” a woman from feeling mundane. Sex work is work, but the way it was used as a device in this book was bizarre.

Also, there was no actual drama or issue in the end.
