The Death and Life of Eleanor Parker
by Kerry Wilkinson
I really enjoyed the concept of his novel - the mixture of YA and paranormal thriller was great.
I didn’t feel like I got to know the protagonist that well. The whole story was quite traumatic for her which maybe deflected away from personality development, but I don’t feel like I know her at all.
The other characters were good but I didn’t have a favourite because again I didn’t feel like I got to know them very well.
The scene setting was brilliant and the ideas behind the story were great.
I didn’t feel as satisfied as I’d have hoped by he ending, I felt like it was left a bit unsure about a few things but I suppose that’s how the main character felt too.
I’d recommend it to others and if you enjoy YA suspense/paranormal then you’ll enjoy it.
