Infinity
by Sherrilyn Kenyon
All right, when I first saw this book in B&N it looked interesting. I opened the cover and the first word I saw was zombies. Okay, not going to lie, zombies bore me. They're my least favorite 'monster' and I put the book back.
Few weeks later, I saw it again, skimmed it, read the summary again, still put it back.
It wasn't until I got the book for free at a movie theater, yeah I couldn't believe it either, that I finally read it. I couldn't stop reading it. I mean, I'm a teenager, it's a YA novel, it should appeal to me and it did. I loved the comedy, the characters, the smart assness of the characters. I never felt like it dragged. Nick seemed like a cool guy and the setting was awesome. This book is the reason why I want to go check out New Orleans.
When the book ended, I wanted a lot more. That's why I looked up Sherri's name and found the DH series. Over the past two years I've been reading them and it's been an amazing ride. I've laughed, I've cried, quite literally and I don't do that often with books. I owe a lot to this book and I suggest it to everyone I know.
The only thing I didn't like was the somewhat juvenile language like "snot" or something like that. But you do have to keep in mind that this is a YA novel and shouldn't have too many swears in it. Other than that, I love this book. I'm reading it for a second time and plan to read it a lot more.
