I read this book on a whim since I could read it thanks to Amazon prime. The first half of the book was a struggle to get through. A lot of it felt forced, and I struggled to really connect to Aurora as a character. Thankfully the second half of the book I felt the book found its pacing with the story and Aurora was finally clicking as the protagonist. After finishing this first book, I look forward to checking out the second, as it seems to have enough potential to continue the series. 3.25 out of 5.
