Maybe it's because I wasn't able to read this in a condensed amount of time, or maybe there's another reason that the words didn't jump off the pages at me. But, Miss Peregrine and her peculiar children were not as memorable as I'd hoped. Obviously there were good parts, but the writing and description really made it feel like a children's book. Full review to come on the blog. I swear.
