This was a little bit of a struggle to get through at times. Perhaps it could have been 30-50 pages shorter. This was the first book I read by this author and while it had some exciting moments, a lot of the book dragged for me. I enjoy both ya and na fiction and thought this would tick all the boxes but I still felt like the pacing wasn’t working. I think the twist reveal was the most exciting part of the book but then the alternating perspectives made it hard to follow the big climatic scene.
