Frankenstein: The 1818 Text
by Mary Shelley
This is not what I expected at all, to be honest. Before I had to read this for my Gothic Lit class, the only thing I knew about Frankenstein was that a guy created an evil monster. It was much more than that, though. It is about being an outcast, getting revenge, death, and many other things. Frankenstein has a much deeper meaning behind it than what the depict it as in society today, and that is rather sad.
