I’ve been reading this book so long that I don’t even know what to do with myself now.
A fast-paced thriller - as long as you don’t read it on a plane, in my opinion. My downfall is that I started it on a plane ride and then couldn’t bring myself to pick it up except for little reading sprints here and there. 71 days - it took me 71 days to finish this thanks to some airplane trips making me not wanting to pick this up as well as reading slump (which is no fault of the Hostage, I promise).
However, when I finally picked it back up in October - BAM.
Fast paced and propulsive. I couldn’t stop turning the pages - I had to know what was happening on Flight 79 and back in the UK.
Four stars instead of five because honestly I wanted a little bit more, like why and how did Becca become who she was? And what was that epilogue? 👀
I’ll definitely read more by this author!
