The Vine Witch
by Luanne G. Smith
The Vine Witch was a fantastic take on witches and the wine business, what more could you ask for? I will say this book had a really interesting storyline and I was intrigued to learn more about wine. I loved the characters and the magic Luanne has created for them, they felt very real yet they were living in this semi-fantastical world where witches exist. The romance aspect of this book was not overpowering either, which may disappoint some, but I found it tolerable and I don't typically pick up books under the tag ‘Romance’. Fair warning, this book does slow down tremendously and does have a lot of ‘wine-jargon(?)’, but the ending absolutely makes up for it, at least in the climatic sense.
