Raspberry Danish Murder by Joanne Fluke
3.0

Thank you to Netgalley, Joanne Fluke, and the publisher for providing me an advanced copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

To read 22 books in a series, it is apparent that this reader is addicted to the Hannah Swensen series. These books are a quick & easy read and often entertaining. Though I enjoyed the story, I did not feel that Raspberry Danish Murder had many of the items that I loved from books earlier in the season. I feel that once Hannah and Ross decided to get married, it caused a bit of a "is that it?" feeling. I preferred much better the dynamics between Hannah, Norman, and Mike. In my opinion, the marriage of Hannah and Ross feels fake and not based on love. Also, the murder in the story seemed to take a back seat to all of the baking going on through the book and trying to locate Ross who has seemed to disappear for unknown reasons.

I am hoping that the next one in the series will be more suspenseful and an exciting installment in the series.
