This was the only book by Sarah Dessen that I had never read, and I have no clue why it took me so long. It was classic Dessen, a book with a lot of focus on friends, family, love, and how you feel about yourself. It should be very inspiring for girls who don't always think they're the most beautiful or popular or funny. But who does? It shows that it doesn't always matter what the world thinks about you, but that you should always be yourself and be proud of who you are! It was a wonderful read and I'd recommend it to anyone.
