World Running Down by Al Hess

This story is on the cosier end of dystopia, with high stakes for all the characters, but without being too bleak or grim along the way. There are some plot strands that fall away, and some resolutions are a little too easy, but I absolutely loved the juxtaposition of the two main characters' journeys to explore and live their own identities. As this is part of my "read more sci-fi" year, I also appreciated the clear differentiation between AI and Androids.

Definitely recommended for others to check out!
