Woah! What a turn POWERS took! I was highly confused when I opened this volume and saw...monkeys. 2001: A Spacey Odyssey-type monkeys. But as it continued, after my initial what-the-ffff reaction, it was such a great origin story for our main character Christian Walker, that I think it's one of the best volumes so far. So many questions answered about the universe of Powers, of Walker, and the past. Highly enjoyed.
