Doctor Scandalous
by J. Saman
The second I started reading this book I completely fell in love with Oliver and Amelia. I couldn’t put this book down. I was laughing out loud, swoony and fanning myself the whole way through.
Oliver Fritz is a media target, a notorious bachelor and a fantastic doctor. Stuck attending a high school reunion he really doesn’t want to be at, he runs into a former classmate, Amelia. Amelia is a nurse, she is hardworking and the primary caretaker for her fourteen year old sister, Layla. Oliver and Amelia help each other out and end up keeping each other company the reunion they both dread.
I loved that Oliver instantly jumped in to help Amelia, even though, she could have handled herself just fine. There was an instant connection between the two of them and despite the fact that they haven’t seen each other in ten years, there was something there between them. I loved seeing their connection grow and the chemistry between them get stronger throughout the story. Oliver has such a sweet and caring side to him and I loved seeing that come out, especially when it came to Amelia and Layla.
I LOVED Layla. I agree with Oliver, she is a spitfire. She brought so many laughs when it came to the story. I loved that she wasn’t afraid to speak her mind, she wasn’t afraid to push Amelia and she instantly bonded with Oliver and the two of them formed their own connection together.
If you’re looking for a fake relationship, Doctor/Nurse, friends to lovers romance this is one to check out!
