Gemina was so much better than Illuminae (and I mean Illuminae was one bad ass piece of sheer artwork) but Gemina ups the game and raises the stakes.
At first I was a bit disappointed to not be following Kady and Ezra but Nik and Hanna grew on me instantly. It was such a captivating read and all the characters were incredible, once again the way of writing in the style of audio files, camera feeds and IMs weaved a perfect story of high stakes, friendship, adventure and the will to survive above all else.
