Oh man, I actually bought this book before reading it, which is something I don't often do, and I am so glad I did! This is the second chronic illness memoir/info book I've read in 2021 and this one also made me feel seen and understood. Though a lot of the information was US based, which doesn't always align here in Canada because of different disability legislation, and the author has different illnesses to me, a lot of her experiences were still relatable to me but in a less extreme way. Will definitely keep this book and likely recommend it to friends and family of people with chronic illness as it does a good job explaining a lot of things.
