The Glucose Goddess Method
by Jessie Inchauspé
DID NOT FINISH: 6%
once i realized that there was another book which highlighted "all" of her glucose hacks, i dropped this one (thankfully it was borrowed). maybe this would work for people who want the workbook aspect and the recipes. i feel as though her youtube channel and other free resources available on her website are more than enough to get started. in the future, i might try out her other book glucose revolution.
key takeaway (from a free resource!): oat milk was too good to be true :( opt for unsweetened soy or pea milk which have...
- more protein and fat for each gram of carbs amongst a few other plant-based milks if you're interested in that
- less water and land usage than animal-derived milk & almond whilst having similar protein content as whole milk.
ETA for my vegetarian and vegan friends: i skimmed through the recipes and honestly aside from the desserts, the recipes were not really made with us in mind (take with a grain of salt though since i did DNF it). just wanted to link some other food creators to help aid your journey; sift through their recipes at your own discretion.
