Go in blind when reading this book and you will be surprised in a good way.
I’ve read it in one sitting because this dark and twisted story will play with your heart and feelings in every possible way.I just couldn't stop turning page after page to see what happens next.
Firstly, I just love the characters names, just perfect and maybe a bit unique for the female character. Silver is a survivor and I love her so much, she hasn't given up even in her most terrifying moments and her caring and love for human beings has no limits.
Alex is the new tatted and a bit scary school colleague that has been through a lot in his life and is still fighting for a better life with his loved brother.
Of course, the high school is not a happy and nice place to play around as there will be always entitled rich bullies and there are many twists and turns that shows how much some teenagers see the school and life as a joke and they think they are invincibles.
Two souls that are healing each other and fall in love although they both are scared of what life will have in place for them. The chemistry between them felt a bit forced at the beginning of the book but after their first time together, everything clicked on and I just can't wait for the next books in the series especially after the last chapters that left me in awe.
There are many high school romances and this book is one of the best through the writing and characters and all the twisted events.
Favourite Passages:
“You’re a void, Alex. A vast, beautiful fucking black hole that sucks everything into it and gives nothing back. Ever.”
”I also happen to think that you’re the most beautiful fucking thing I have ever witnessed with my own two eyes. I am watching you just as much as you’re watching me…and I don’t trust myself to look away.”
”Ironically, it’s the boy with the rap sheet, a body full of ink and the dangerous glint in his eye who’s putting me back together.”
”I’ll follow you to the ends of the fucking earth if it'll make you happy.”
