This was a delight to read! It is very whimsical and I had a vision of this story as the sweetest animated movie ever in my head the whole time. Honestly, if I could wish for one animated movie ever, it would be the adaption of this book. It's very lighthearted, despite exploring themes that are moving and the opposite of cute. But it does it in a way that allows you to deal with these themes while knowing that in this story, everything will be okay at one point. The characters are extremely loveable and if you like working with children, they will grow on you even more.
