This series turned heavy! The first book already hinted at it, and this time around we got to learn more about Colton’s history. I’m glad that this one has more chapters from his POV, but it also made me more mad at Rylee for not listening to him, haha. I never like it when a story goes the assuming route, not having them communicate, but this is also true to how fights go in real life. I think the balance was just right, and sparks were definitely flying after! I’ve expected this cliffhanger ending since book one, but it still gripped my heart and I have to continue with book three soon! But I need a light, fluffy read first to settle my head a bit!
