A fun subverted fairytale book, one of the better ones I've read The 3 main characters are all well developed, and a fairly satisfying ending, though it did end in a very openway that suggested a sequel that there is no intentionof being written, so that's a bit odd. There are many individual fairytales addressed I think 1 per chapter, each twisted to a sinister outcome that our mercenary heroes will resolve. The one downside is how conveniently things always worked out for them, though they do explain it away to a certain degree.
I did enjoy it, the audio narration was very good with 3 performers and each chapter being its own little adventure meant it worked well with my listening routine. For all that though I doubt I'll read it again and have no particular plans to seek out more by the author.
