This book started out rough for me. I’m not a fan of alcoholic main characters so my liking for Lo was almost nonexistent at the start of the book. Once she realized what was going on and cut out the alcohol I started to like her and the book a lot more.
It definitely didn’t go the way I expected it to and I really liked that! There were a few things I figured out relatively easily but I still enjoyed the book as a whole.
This was the first Ware book I read and I own her other two and I’m definitely looking forward to reading them now!
I thought this book was well written and the plot was well developed. I love a good mystery and I’d definitely classify this as a good mystery.
