I really loved this book. I love mythology, but so far I've only been exposed to Greek, Norse, and a smidge of Roman and Celtic. Egyptian mythology is one I really want to look into and this book is an excellent gateway. Rick Riordan continues to be so inclusive with his series and even though he has so many going on at once, he still produces quality content. 

Sadie reminds me so much of myself, a little sassy, headstrong and constantly wearing combat boots. She was definitely my favorite. 

As far as faults go, there are very little. If anything I think this one is a little more complex and just has a lot of plot threads going on at once. Rick usually does this in his other books, but it's not as apparent as it was here. Still, this book is an amazing beginning to a new series that fans of PJ will definitely enjoy.
