annarella 's review for:
The Widow of Rose House
by Diana Biller
I liked this well written gothic novel.
It's an engrossing read set in in New York during the Gilded Age.
We're used to think of ancient and ruined castles for a gothic novel but the historical background work perfectly and the creepy factor is quite high.
I liked the fleshed out cast of characters and I had fun reading this novel.
Highly recommended!
Many thanks to the publisher and Edelweiss for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
