The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell
3.0

I really wanted to rate this book higher, but as it took me so long to read, and dragged a little I really couldn't justify a higher rating.

I enjoyed the storyline although I did have moments of confusion in some parts, but I think that was mainly attributed to the fact that it did take me so long to read. I think that it was one of those books that my heart really wanted to be in, but my head suffered with understanding why.

I would recommend it to others, especially if they're fans of fiction with futuristic fantasist tones. I can't say that I've read anything like it before, mainly as fantasy isn't usually my cup of tea. I did feel that Mitchell though wove a delicate story with intricate patterns that I highly appreciated. A good book, but one that unfortunately didn't grasp and hold my attention enough.
