I love the twist on Oz that this book has, takes the classic we all know and love and brings it in a whole new direction!

but the main character is painfully passive-aggressive about everything! (Which is something that personally annoys me but it may not annoy others).

For the first book in a series, I feel like the plot line is well-set and the author has a clear path to follow. I wasn't completely blown away by this, if only because of the narration, however I will be reading the remaining books in the series because I have to know what happens next!
