I really liked this! yes it ripped my heart out at times, but I think it was just so simply and beautifully written that i can't be mad at it. the overall theme of it changing the heart of the traveller is nice and heartwarming, and I found the characters' stories ones I could empathize with. plus, I'm a sucker for a found family dynamic like what's revealed with hirai's phones and miki's storyline. however, I do think it's predictable, and maybe a little boring because of it. sure it's comforting that I understood the characters enough to guess the plot, but I found myself skipping lines just because I knew it all already. overall though I enjoyed it and will prob read the others as well when I'm looking for my next easy read!
