The Lincoln Myth
by Steve Berry
Mr. Berry is expert intertwining the past with the present focusing on an historical person, event or relic and the relevance to present day situations. Book number 9 in Mr. Berry’s Cotton Malone series focuses on Abraham Lincoln and reasons the Civil War was waged in the U.S. In addition to Mr. Lincoln, the founding fathers and the Constitution, the Mormon Church figures prominently in this story.
As usual all is not as it appears with many plot twists back and forth across the Atlantic from the U.S to Europe to keep Malone and company busy. Not Berry’s best work but it should hold the interest of his fans.
